    Youth Development Partnership

DMS is excited to announce today that DMS Academy will be rebranding our youth club to become a part of the NEW Rochester Lancers Youth Soccer Club. The original Lancers were the pioneers of youth soccer in our area and will continue to inspire our youth to love our game and help them reach their goals and desires.

Two longstanding names in the Rochester soccer community have come together, marking a significant moment for the future of the world’s game right here in Rochester.  The Rochester Lancers and Doug Miller Soccer have announced a milestone partnership.

DMS Academy will rebrand as the Rochester Lancers Youth Soccer Club beginning this fall. The Lancers youth teams will wear the Lancers’ familiar white, royal and gold jerseys on the field, expanding the visibility of the Lancers as the youths teams compete locally and throughout the region.

This partnership brings into focus the Lancers’ goal of being the backbone of soccer in the Rochester community by developing and creating pathways for both boys and girls players of all ages.

Over the last several years, the Lancer’s focus has been to create a successful business model for both the first team players on the field and the stadium experience for the fans.  Lancers President Sam Fantauzzo states, “We feel as if we are now prepared to focus on the next steps of our soccer evolution in the Rochester Area.  Partnering with Doug Miller Soccer and making that club part of our family as the Rochester Lancers Youth Soccer Club was, in our minds, the most logical next step.”

The Rochester Lancers currently have men’s teams participating in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) and Major Arena Soccer League (MASL).  The Lady Lancers are part of the United Women’s Soccer (UWS).  These opportunities will provide the next steps for players to continue their growth in our programs.  The NSPL and the UWS serve as a training ground for college player’s fine tune their craft on summer breaks which allows each player a platform to improve.

Doug Miller Soccer (DMS) will continue as a training ground for various clubs and camps providing world class training and skill development.  This has been my approach from the inception in 1996 to provide opportunities for players reach their soccer and life goals.

Finally, we want to thank all our members for being a part of this journey as I can assure you that this partnership brings tremendous value to the organization and our membership.
